Stretch Your Dollar to Fight Hunger

The Interfaith Food Pantry depends on the generosity of our supporters to provide food security for our neighbors in need. Your financial gifts also allow us to purchase food in bulk at reduced cost, allowing your dollar to go further than it would at the grocery store.

Blacksburg Interfaith Food Pantry, Inc. has filed Form 1023 with the Internal Revenue Service seeking recognition as a tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The organization has no reason to believe that its application will not be approved. If recognized as tax-exempt, the determination will be retroactive to the date of incorporation (12/22/25), and contributions made since that date expected to be fully deductible as permitted by law. Donors are encouraged to consult their tax advisor regarding the deductibility of their contribution. We will notify our supporters upon receipt of the IRS determination letter.
