Eligibility

Screening Information

  • Location: Blacksburg Interfaith Food Pantry. 706 Harding Ave., Blacksburg, VA

  • Time: Monday or Tuesday between 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm or Wednesday and Thursday between 10:30 am and 11:30 am.

  • Shop the same day you register.

Information Needed

Verification of current address, such as:

  • A utility bill, lease agreement, or an official document with your current address.

    • Driver’s Licenses are not accepted

  • Household Members

    • We need to confirm the name, date of birth, and relationship of the members of your household. If you are caring for foster children or other unrelated children in your household, please clarify your relationship with the children (child, foster, grandchild, partner’s child, etc.).

Frequency

  • Qualified clients can visit the food pantry once a month.

  • If you do not come in a particular month, you may not carry over your visit to another month.

Other Services

  • Homeless Support:

    • We offer food to our homeless population

  • Emergency Food Supplies:

    • If a customer does not have the proper documentation, a subset of food offerings is available.  We do not turn away anyone in need.
